GREG GUTFELD: Social justice could get you murdered

You’re all coming back together. Happy Wednesday everyone. So at first America was such a great place. People came together and created laws to keep everyone safe. It worked. It turns out that if you build a country with borders, an army, and well-regulated law enforcement, prosperity is not far away. But you know what happens after that, right? Self-satisfaction. A false sense of security, followed by decline and destruction. For when the simplest minds no longer have to worry about the savage at their door, they begin to build what is called a religion of luxury. You know, the belief that has no relation to reality, the belief that bad people are actually good people and that if we don’t agree with that, we become bad people. Because we are the oppressors who prevent criminals from enjoying fun things like theft, violence, drug abuse, and the streets. Poop, also known as the San Francisco Walking Tour. But the saddest thing about luxury worship is not how simple it is, but that it can literally kill you.

Last week in Philadelphia, left-wing activists [Josh] Krueger was brutally murdered in his home. But Krueger has previously downplayed the violence gripping Philadelphia and many American cities on Twitter and in print. Do you think Krueger deserved to be killed? Of course not. What happened to him is a tragedy. He hopes the culprit will be arrested. I don’t envy the Philadelphia police, who are already dealing with robbers, dealers, and Eagles fans.

Later, in Brooklyn, New York, another left-wing activist and his girlfriend happened to cross what is commonly known as New York Street Crazy. All of this street madness is terrifying, but some are even more so. Ryan Carson was stabbed to death for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. We may be joking here, but there’s nothing funny about Ryan Carson’s death. Perhaps he has been told all his adult life that believing that some people are dangerous, crazy, or just plain evil is a terrible bigotry. Unfortunately, the people who pitched him the idea, usually progressive professors, weren’t around to help him that night. I don’t think they would have jumped at it even if he had helped. Because liberal professors aren’t known for being very enthusiastic.

Remember the anti-police activist who got carjacked in his driveway? Talk about convenience as far as carjackings go. Although it was a short walk home, she discovered something else about her belief in luxury. Luxury cars are stolen. After all, progressive beliefs are like peacock feathers. They are all for show and attract predators. Recall that the next day, she posted on Facebook, “These criminals won’t win. We need to take back our city.” Now let’s translate that. I joined the NRA because I was stupid.

Conditions in our cities have gotten so bad that even the bible of luxury worship, the New York Times, is beginning to lose credibility. They announced last week that America’s downtowns are now moving from one crisis to the next as a surge in homelessness, drug ODs, violent crime and mental illness threatens to overwhelm the security once considered fundamental in the nation’s major cities. I wrote that I was depressed. oh. It seems that there is a writer whose BLM T-shirt did not save him from being robbed. I hope his biggest problem right now is how to get the Biden-Harris bumper sticker off his Audi. But, of course, some true believers refuse to wake up. In Chattanooga, a father of three was murdered by a man who had been arrested 66 times in the past, but what the city’s mayor calls it is a senseless act of gun violence. Yes, it was pointless. It makes no sense that this looter was still on the streets, Mayor, and it’s not gun violence, but criminality condoned by the blind faith of activists in political office.

Now, we all know that in the Church of the Luxury Faith, the high priest is the Washington Democrat. They not only preach this, they enforce it, unknowingly putting their lives at risk. This is one way to remove them from public office. So you think their friends might start having a little doubt when reality hits one of them? Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar just had a gun pointed in his face by three young car burglars who, by the way, are still at large. I hate this word, it’s on the run, if it’s that big it should be easy to find. Of course, carjackings in our capital have increased by 106%. The only deterrent is traffic. When asked about this by Peter Doocy, White House villain Karine Jean-Pierre gave a reassuring answer:

Peter Doocy: So if President Biden’s policies are helping to reduce crime, would he be comfortable with someone borrowing his Corvette and parking it overnight on a street in Southeast Washington, D.C.?

Karine Jean-Pierre: I’m not going to go into hypotheticals. I would like to clarify the facts about what this president has done.

Peter Doocy: If MPs aren’t safe on the streets of our nation’s capital, who is?

Karine Jean-Pierre: We are grateful and relieved that the deputy is safe. We understand what communities are going through, not just in Washington, D.C., but across the country. There’s always more to do.

That’s a great answer. She’s the Baghdad Bob of the Beltway. She always says there’s still work to be done about everything, I mean, we haven’t done anything about it, but she’s going to paint the White House like a rainbow and then work on it. So the Democrats are ignoring all of this, but the rest of us are. Look at our nation’s retailers. If you want to know where not to move, just look at where Target is closing stores. It’s ironic that a store named Target has to close due to violence. Seattle, SF, Oakland, Portland, New York, approaching Target is like a waved white flag. You win, scumbag.

You see, the Democratic Party has been able to only outrun reality for a long time. Especially with a structure like this. Republicans have their flaws, but at least they live in a real world, one that recognizes that cults of luxury are more deadly than foolish. So will things eventually change when progressives realize what is killing them and that is progressivism? Because the progressive filter denies reality and tells us to pay attention because attention is discriminatory and therefore racist. If you cross the street to avoid a gang of thugs who call you a bigot, you should risk being stabbed just to show that you’re on their side. As a matter of fact, we had seen this beforehand, but what did the library say?

CNN: If you listen to conservative media, you would think that entire cities are involved in fighting, fires, etc. We went out to New York tonight and had a wonderful dinner.

As you know, both of those clowns are dead, but their tragic legacies continue. The truth is, social justice should come with a warning label. “Be careful, trusting this stomach will only get you killed.”
