“Extra” caught up with Golden Bachelorette Joan Bathos after taping the “Men Tell All” special.
She spoke candidly about being reunited with them: You became really good friends and even though you didn’t have romantic feelings for each other, there’s still a great friendship that you built. We had been together for months and then suddenly we broke up. It’s been a while since I last saw them, so it felt like I was back in my hometown, and I was so happy to see their smiling faces. It felt like we were never apart, like we never took a break. ”
One thing that surprised her was that many of them were now in new relationships.
Vassos said of catching up with the men: I’m so shocked and so excited for them,” she joked. “Looks like they got over me quickly!”
She added: “I’m so happy for them because I think it’s so hard to find someone at this stage. The dating pool is really small. So many people are starting relationships right now. I am!” he added.
Joan teased whether she found her special someone. “I found a lot of love this season… I can’t say for sure how this ended, but I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.”
The 61-year-old also talked about dating in her hometown, meeting the man’s children and grandchildren, and how important that was to her decision.
She said, “I think home is especially important to the Golden Series because we have built such a big life. You know, we work our whole lives to build a place where our families can live together.” I’m not going to leave my family. I have children, I have grandchildren, and someone gave up their life for me. I don’t expect them to do that either. I think that’s asking them to give up too much.”
Joan continued, “So I had to imagine myself being a part of their lives, maybe spending two weeks or a month, or how they interacted with each other.” Maybe I’ll think about meeting them. But I certainly believed that my hometown is really, really important because I have to spend time with their hometown and their family. ”
“And, let me tell you, I fell in love with these families,” she said. “Of course I couldn’t choose all four, so I’m not going to be a part of these families. Some of these families that I really like have close ties with me. It felt like.”

Plus, who does Joan think should be the next Golden Bachelor?
Joan insisted, “There’s so many guys, you saw tonight, they’re a great group of guys.” I don’t think there is anyone who isn’t good at that. I couldn’t choose one. I don’t mean to be evasive, but to be honest, I couldn’t choose one. Everyone is really good. ”
