Liberal billionaire George Soros is funneling billions of cash into trying to flip Texas to Democrats, state campaign finance records reviewed by Fox News Digital show reveal.
Mr. Soros has donated more than $3 million to at least five left-wing groups in the Lone Star State in the past year to shore up infrastructure and help Democrats cash in on overwhelmingly Republican strongholds.
This investor is single-handedly driving one of the progressive groups working to achieve these goals.
Fox News Digital reported in August that a shadowy, low-profile group called Texas Majority PAC, which aims to turn the state blue, received hundreds of thousands of dollars from Soros’ Democracy PAC II.

Texas Majority PAC had not yet publicly launched, and there were no reports about it at the time. But since then, it has come out of the shadows and into the spotlight.
The group, run by former staffers from Democrat Beto O’Rourke’s unsuccessful gubernatorial campaign, raised about $2.25 million last year, according to a recent report in the Texas Tribune.

“We need millions more dollars and hundreds more full-time staff to do this,” Katherine Fisher, the organization’s executive director, told The Texas Tribune last week about the funding. “Texas Majority PAC is working with partners across the state to create the conditions that make flipping the state possible.”
Recently released Texas campaign finance records, reviewed by a Fox News digital program, show Soros has donated all of his donations to date. His Democracy PAC II provided the group with his $850,000 contribution, and he personally provided his $1.4 million. These make up his entire PAC contribution of $2.25 million.
Mayra Flores, a former Republican lawmaker and the first Mexican-born woman to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives, said she was the reason Soros was funneling money to the Texas Majority PAC to boost Democratic turnout in 2024. They believe this is because Soros doesn’t want Hispanic Republican leaders like him to increase Democratic turnout. She supports other Hispanics who have traditionally voted blue.
“They’re seeing Hispanics lean Republican because they think we’re the party of prosperity, we want to build a strong economy, we want to protect our borders, we want to put our people first. “Instead of prioritizing the people of this country, don’t prioritize people from outside this country. And I believe that our policies are appealing to people. That fight.” is real,” Flores said recently.
Records show Alex Soros has visited Biden’s White House at least 20 times to date.
“George Soros and the Democratic Party see people like me who resonate with the Hispanic community,” she added. “They resonate with me. I resonate with them. We have similar stories. I’m bilingual. I speak Spanish and English. We have similar stories. We have a story and we share that bond.”
Most of Soros’ Texas cash went to the Texas Majority PAC, but he also donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to other groups working to elect Democrats across the state.
Campaign finance records show Soros donated at least $300,000 to CTX Votes in the second half of 2023, but CTX Votes does not appear to have an online presence.
In December, he donated $250,000 to the Texas Organizing Project, which came under fire last month for bailing out an individual accused of killing several people in Texas, including his parents.

Additionally, in late 2023, he donated $200,000 to the Dallas County Democratic Party PAC and $100,000 to a group called First Tuesday, which also appears to have no online presence.
Soros spokesman Michael Vachon, who also runs Soros’ Democracy PAC, did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
