The campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, recently hired a senior adviser with a history of posting sexist messages online that mock women and gay people, as well as others who appeared to criticize Harris on social media after her 2019 presidential loss.

Marshall, who served as strategic communications director for Joe Biden in 2020, a senior adviser to the Biden-Harris campaign and a former senior adviser to Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, before deleting thousands of old posts this week, as a senior adviser for 2024.

Marshall’s social media profiles have been filled with controversial comments for over a decade. In a 2011 Christmas Eve post, he expressed his love for a “power woman,” but then revealed that she was “a very shy and timid woman.”[s] “Her place,” he said, “where [sic] Pants,” Fox News Digital Reported previously.

In early 2012, Marshall asked. “Are all women crazy? LOL No offense intended. [I’m just saying]”

Marshall has previously used the word “no homo” in several since-deleted posts and appeared to question the sexual abuse allegations against comedian Bill Cosby, saying in 2015 that “it is no coincidence that Cosby faces charges while countless other cops who shoot at black people are not.” The Washington Free Beacon reported earlier.

“If you see a man around women all day there’s a good chance he wants to be alone or is very feminine. #justsaying,” Marshall wrote in another post.

Additionally, Marshall appeared to criticize Harris immediately following the 2019 debate. Post a message “Dear Black People, Don’t just be black when it’s convenient for you. Be black 24/7. 365 days a year. That’s it. Sincerely, A Black Man.”

“They say the election is the most important one of our lifetimes, and this election is important at all costs,” Marshall told ABC News about his hiring.

“I cannot emphasize enough the urgency of the upcoming election and how all of the progress the Biden-Harris Administration has made could be reversed and all of our gains could be foregone.”

Fox News Digital reached out to Harris’ campaign and Marshall for comment but did not receive a response.
