Due to the outbreak of Salmonella enteritidis, the number of cases remains stable at 18 in salmonella outbreak strains reported from seven states at 18.

The Outbreak is linked to a mini pastry made in Italy, a sweet cream brand, and is exported to the US by PIU Che Dolci Inc., an import from Quebec, Canada. The outbreak began in Canada, with 69 patients reported to be ill. The pastries have been recalled in both countries. The FDA first posted the incident on February 5th.

Due to the outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes leading to frozen nutritional shaking, the number of cases remains at 38 with 12 deaths. The associated shakes were sold to nursing homes under the Sysco and Lyons Readycare brands. Shakes from both brands have been recalled. The Shake was produced by Prairie Farms Dairy Inc. at a facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The FDA discovered Listeria monocytogen at the facility. The FDA has heard for the first time that it happened in October 2024. The agency occurred on December 26, 2024 with unknown origin. The cause was announced on February 21st.

Another outbreak of infectious diseases from Listeria monocytogenes is under investigation. There are 36 patients. The cause of the occurrence has not been determined yet.
