NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Fans are upset that the New Orleans Saints are 9-8 this season, and they want to make their dissatisfaction known by holding up signs that say “Light on Dennis Allen.” I believe.
Saints fans are currently “Go Fund Me” fundraising campaign A four-week billboard campaign took place on Earhart Boulevard near the Saints’ facility in New Orleans.
In an online fundraiser post, a fan wrote: “As we all know, Dennis Allen has been a complete failure as head coach in New Orleans, and the entire Who Dat Nation is tired of it. The billboards will at least give us a way to make our voices heard. We want to be good again, so mediocrity has to go.”
To install the sign, we need to raise $1,650. So far, the fundraiser has raised $595.
The signage fundraiser will be hosted by Nicole and Lyne from Saints Twitter, and the artwork will be by New Orleans artist Jay Frost.
Fans have until January 22nd to raise the necessary funds to obtain the sign. If the goal is not reached, remaining proceeds will be donated to Allen Keller’s Tailgate Together Foundation and the New Orleans Women and Children’s Shelter.
