Former McDonald’s employee goes viral after telling story of being assaulted during rush hour on weekend, saying customers didn’t come to his aid
TikToker (@soybeanshowdown) discussed how widespread abuse of fast food employees is after piecing together clips of angry women yelling at McDonald’s employees. The author’s video has been viewed more than 64,000 times as of Tuesday.

“When you work at McDonald’s, people assume you’re uneducated, unintelligent, and you’re not going anywhere. People think fast food is a disgrace.” Even the friendliest customers are often condescending.”

“One time there was a line wrapped around the store and into the street,” they said. “There was a man who didn’t have a home that I knew very well. When he had extra, I gave him free stuff. There was no extra food this time.”

“He hid until I had no suspicion, then grabbed my arm and tried to drag me out the window,” the author said.
The assault took place in front of a line of cars as several people watched.
