People love to hear what’s actually going on behind the scenes of famous companies, especially those as secretive as Apple.

That’s exactly what one Tiktoc creator offers.
Kaitlynd McQueen (@reddnea), who previously worked for Apple and now posts technical content and boxed videos, shares clips that have been viewed over 7.6 million times.
In it, she examines a set of unusual rules that Apple employees report to be communicated.
“The strange rules [Apple logo] Employees,” McQueen wrote in the video’s text overlay.
‘Do not provide a bag‘
First? bag.
“Technically, they don’t want you to provide a bag,” says McQueen. “We have to ask for a bag.”
She explains that if a customer wants one but has a large wallet or backpack, employees are encouraged to suggest using it instead.
There is no official Apple documentation to review this policy, but it is not uncommon for retailers to adopt it. Similar practices Promote sustainability by reducing the number of bags offered by stores.
‘Don’t wear your shirt outside of work‘
Next up is the Apple brand outfit.
“We are not allowed to wear apple branded outfits from the store,” she says.
Her manager says that employees will not be easily identified or targeted after work, as they explain it as safety reasons, but she doesn’t seem to be convinced.
Apple has not publicly mentioned this assumption of rules in its guidelines. Use Apple trademarks and copyrights, Business Behavior Policy,or Apple ID Guidelines Certified personal use.
But that doesn’t mean that it’s not true. If so, it’s probably not published by Apple.

She also says she is expected to ask customers if workers are buying for work. If so, connect them with Apple’s business team.
“We are not supposed to let our customers leave without talking about work,” she explains.
Even the way employees interact with the product is carefully structured, according to McQueens.
“We are not assuming that our customers will hold the device they are demonstrating,” she says. This means that if you’re checking out your iPhone or MacBook, your employees are trained to give it to you. I won’t show it directly.
The reason, according to McQuenens, is about “mental property rights.” The more physically engaged a customer, the more likely they are to buy something.
She previously talked about the idea of ”mental ownership” and how Apple is said to be using it. She says Apple encourages customers to interact directly with their products, which creates emotional connections. In theory, it will be possible to purchase.
The end of her list is a small technical matter. Whether you clean the port, fix a volume issue or check why the ringer is not working, Mcqueens claims that employees are technically supposed to send to the Genius Bar and have them book an appointment.
“That’s one of the things I didn’t hear 100%,” she admits. Sometimes, if it’s a quick fix, she’ll just help them out on the spot so that someone doesn’t “cough” when they’re silent.
Viewers were not impressed
In the comments, many people turned to the idea that Apple would hold the bag down. Take into consideration the price tag of your product in particular.
“A trillion dollar companies can’t afford a 25-cent bag,” one joked.
Another added, “If you’re spending more than $1,000 on the phone, you’d like a bag with a bitten apple.”
Some users have been more postponed by the psychology behind it. “Everything is very manipulative,” one person wrote.
