In a recent update, it was announced that the production schedule for Euphoria Season 3 has hit a snag, disappointing fans who were looking forward to the next chapter of the Sam Levinson drama. On the contrary, Euphoria Season 3’s setback came after initial optimism surrounding HBO’s focus on prioritizing the scripting process after the writers’ strike.

As well as the setback, the cast of the upcoming series, including Zendia of Dune Dune Part 2 fame and Sydney Sweeney of Anyone But You fame, advised him to pursue other projects.

HBO and Sam Levinson remain committed to producing a great third season. In the meantime, we will allow our in-demand cast members to pursue other opportunities.

HBO also noted in the same statement that the actors have not been released from their contracts. However, due to production delays, the stars have been given allowances to work on other projects so that their careers are not hampered.

Meanwhile, series creator Sam Levinson teased the filming schedule for the highly anticipated season of Euphoria Season 3 in an exchange with Elle over Zendaya’s 2023 cover story. In the interview, Levinson went on to say: Zendaya’s character “Lou” will “explore what it means to be a principled individual in a corrupt world.”

Nevertheless, during a media interaction last week, another major cast member, Sidney Sweeney, commented on filming Euphoria Season 3.
