Elizabeth Moss hit the red carpet for the Paley Fest LA 2025 event, the sixth and final season of “The Handmaid’s Tale” on Wednesday.
“Extra” spoke with Moss. Moss declared the June character all-out war. Is she revenge?
Elizabeth replied, “Yeah, I think she is. We definitely promised a revolution… that revolution is here.”
Moss couldn’t say what will happen in the finale, but “I really feel it from our hearts, from the finale, so I hope people will feel it.”
Elizabeth is also making “The Handmaid’s Tale” sequel series, “The Estaments,” but appears to have closed the door that could appear on the show.
She said, “I’m not going to show up, I’ll just produce. However, if I were going to show up, I would definitely lie to you.”
Moss recently described the final season as a “love letter” to fans, explaining what she means. She said, “We love the show and we understand that our fans love it. We tried to make sure that they felt we got them, rather than serving them perfectly.”
“Extra” also chatted with Elizabeth’s co-star Yvonne Strahovsky.
She said, “I think this is the most raw we’ve seen Serena. And we’ve seen a lot of it, but I think this is even more raw… Maybe this is the case if she had the chance to be a little more redemptive.”
Yvonne admitted that saying goodbye to the show was “devastating.” She said, “I think Serena, especially letting her go is truly an unexpected amount of sadness.”
Strahovski recalls the last day of filming and explains it as “strange.” She explained in detail.
She also revealed a special memorabilia that she took from the set, “I took my fingers. Serena’s leather fingers.”
Season 6 of “The Handmaid’s Tale” will premiere on Hulu on April 6th.
