“I hate being a bearer of bad news, but Trader Joe doesn’t offer flowers for people’s birthdays,” says Gabriel Munoz (@gabemunozmusic) who is sitting in the car. “I love that it’s your birthday, but if you put flowers on everyone’s birthday, there will be no flowers.” Again, he repeats to take the points home.
“So, happy birthday and congratulations, but we need to put the flowers back together,” he concludes.
On the other hand, it means that he might be writing in the caption.
Daily Dot contacted Munoz via Instagram Direct Message and Tiktok’s comments.
Trader Joe employee sucked back Munoz
Some explained how the free flower system works.
“As a Trader Joe employee, I can’t stand it when people ask me for free flowers,” one viewer said. “I’m going to say no when you ask, that should be a great gesture, not a request.”
“The PPL cannot recognize the discretion of the staff. Sometimes it sometimes asks for it for other reasons. If you ask for free flowers, you’ll usually get hit with no,” another agreed.
A third had customers go to luxury lengths for a free bouquet. “I have birthday sashes and tiaras that have allowed me to pass through my lines, and I hope that only the flowers will be free,” they shared.
Additionally, some lucky customers received a coveted bouquet of birthday flowers.
“But they gave me flowers for my birthday. I didn’t ask, they asked what I had planned and I said it was my bday,” one viewer recalled.
“My shop gave me flowers for my birthday and I am grateful to the workers,” the second commented.
Are there any policies regarding free birthday bouquets?
No, there isn’t. This decision is up to the employee. sfgate “Employees are permitted to hand out free flowers and other items at their own discretion. However, that is not guaranteed.” Therefore, customers cannot approach the employee and request or request flowers as it is a special day. There have been cases where customers have done this, such as Tiktok user Katyan. When she told her manager she was there for a birthday bouquet, she told her, ” [expletive]. ”
Additionally, another customer, Ellie Hall, revealed that the employee wanted to give flowers “he” for her birthday. However, after checking the receipt, she discovers that she ultimately ended up paying it. It is unknown whether this was intentional.
So, don’t stop by Trader Joe for your birthday and expect free flowers. Be kind to your employees and let them decide.
