Disney continues to scale back some entertainment offerings at Disney California Adventure ahead of the busy summer season.

It was first reported that the schedules for Avengers Campus’ Wakandan Warriors and Buena Vista Street Citizens were being cut. Orange County Register.


The Wakandan warriors and citizens of Buena Vista are scheduled to perform daily in June, but the number of performances will be reduced in July. Disneyland calendar.

“We regularly evaluate and adjust our entertainment offerings, and select entertainment at Disney California Adventure Park will soon have adjusted performance schedules. Guests are encouraged to check Disneyland.com and the Disneyland app the day of their visit for the most up-to-date show times,” a Disneyland representative told KTLA.

“We change show times for a variety of reasons, including weather, guest experience and other events and services.”

As of writing, there are no dates on the Disneyland calendar beyond July 25th.

The “Wakanda Warriors: The Discipline of the Dora Milaje” show will see Black Panther’s bodyguards host a strength and skills training session for Avenger Campus visitors, while the “Citizens of Buena Vista Street” show will bring to life the park’s 1920s-themed promenade.

This latest change comes after Disney announced it was ending its Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts show and removing dancers and DJs from Club Pixar.

According to Disneyland officials, Doctor Strange will continue to appear in encounters with guests at various locations around the campus.
