Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s endorsement of former President Donald Trump is surprising, as it would be surprising for a prominent member of America’s quintessential Democratic family to back the most conservative Republican candidate since President Ronald Reagan.
If a majority of Kennedy’s roughly 6% support Trump on November 5, he could get the 3.1% he needs to narrowly defeat Vice President Kamala Harris. But Kennedy should add value beyond Election Day: If re-elected, Trump should ask Kennedy to chair a new Presidential Commission to Make Free Speech Great Again.

Kennedy and his committee members should investigate federal attacks on the First Amendment, most notorious election interference efforts to censor reporting on Hunter Biden’s “Laptop from Hell.”
“The FBI warned us about a possible Russian disinformation operation involving the Biden family and Burisma,” Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg wrote to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) on Monday. After an Oct. 14, 2020 New York Post article exposed Hunter Biden’s laptop and evidence of Biden’s shady international dealings, “we sent the story to our fact-checkers for review and temporarily downgraded it while we waited for a response. After consulting with then-Biden-Harris campaign aide Antony Blinken (now Secretary of State), former acting CIA director Michael Morell rallied 50 other former intelligence officers to sign an open letter rejecting the Washington Post exclusive, saying it “bears all the classic hallmarks of a Russian intelligence operation.”

“Over the course of months in 2021, Biden Administration officials, including from the White House, repeatedly pressured us to censor specific COVID-19 content, including humor and satire, and expressed significant frustration to our team when we did not comply,” Zuckerberg added.
The Biden-Harris Administration’s Justice Department has targeted the FBI against “domestic terrorists,” specifically parents who complained to school boards about critical race theory and radical transgender treatment of minors. The administration has proposed a disinformation committee to patrol unwanted “misinformation” on the internet and punish Biden-Harris detractors by removing them from platforms.

These unconstitutional policies have also come back to haunt Kennedy, whose concerns about COVID-19 vaccines have been forgotten as the pandemic rages on.
Mr. Kennedy, a victim of Biden-Harris censorship, is the perfect person to investigate their war on the First Amendment. The Kennedy Commission should identify all federal officials who committed these unconstitutional outrages.
“What concerns me is this resort to censorship, to control of the media, to the weaponization of federal government agencies,” Kennedy said in Phoenix during a campaign stop on Aug. 23. “For the president of the United States to collude with, or even outright coerce, media companies to censor political speech is an assault on our most sacred right: free expression.”

Kennedy, a victim of Biden-Harris censorship, is the perfect person to investigate their war on the First Amendment. The Kennedy Commission should identify all federal officials who committed these unconstitutional outrages. And Trump should tell these totalitarians, “You’re fired!” Their lawyers should be disbarred and their bar licenses revoked. Those who violate federal law should be prosecuted, convicted, and incarcerated.
And on his first day in office, Trump should revoke the security clearances of 51 former spies who lied, sending a loud signal that censorship is gone and free speech is alive and well.
What a beautiful bipartisan victory this will be for America, thanks to Democrat Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Republican Donald J. Trump.
