Anime fans haven’t gotten over the pillar training arc of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, but we have some good news for you. The final chapter of the popular anime series based on Koyoharu Gotoge’s Japanese manga, “Infinity Castle,” will be released in limited theaters. More importantly, the first film in the series will be released in theaters in 2025.

A list leaked by German movie chain CineStar suggests that the movie “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle” is scheduled to be released on September 25, 2024. Additionally, similar listings on Sony’s website have been suggested to be removed. Social media is currently abuzz with speculation about the leaked list.

The upcoming arc will premiere in an epic trilogy of films that Crunchyroll will distribute worldwide in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment. The Mugenjo arc is the beginning of the end of Tanjiro Kamado’s story, and the trailer for it is currently available.

The Pillar Training arc comes to a heartbreaking end, with the members of the Ubuyashiki family, the founders and current leaders of the Demon Slayer Corps, being murdered.

This event marked the beginning of the Long Night showdown against the main villain, Muzan and his army of upper moon demons. This will be explained in detail in the Infinity Castle chapter. When a huge explosion occurs at the Ubuyashiki residence, all the pillars are burning with revenge. Their main goal is to continue fighting Muzan until dawn. Because the only thing that can kill him is the first light of day.

The central story of the anime revolves around the life of Tanjiro Kamado, whose entire family is killed and the only one left is his sister Nezuko, who has been transformed into a demon. Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps to find a way to turn her back into a human.
