Aardman Animation’s long-awaited sequel, Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nuggets, is finally coming to Netflix. The film is set to hit his Netflix subscribers’ screens in December 2023. The beloved 2000 animated sequel to his comedy “Chicken Run”.

Netflix has officially announced a worldwide release date of December 15, 2023 at the 2023 Annecy Film Festival. Director Sam Fell has released some images from the film, revealing the reappearance of Mrs. Tweedy, who is believed to have exploded in the first film. Regarding this, Fell said:

It was a lot of fun working with Miranda Richardson to transform Melisha Tweedy into her ultimate 1960s supervillain. Miranda has her own take on drama and comedy, making you laugh and then terrifying you by pulling your pants off in exactly the same moment.
