Warren County, Kentucky. – Many schools in Warren County are raising money to give back to patients in need.
The South Warren High School Dance Little Red Marathon provides students across Warren County with an opportunity to dance, gain knowledge, and give back to their community with a twist.
“It’s great to see them having fun. It’s a great learning experience for the kids, interacting with their peers and providing a sense of community,” says Dance Little Red sponsor Erica Lawless.
School integration is part of what this community service project offers. Thanks to all the donations made by Dancing Little Red, many of our patients’ lives will be changed forever.
“Obviously these children at Norton Children’s Hospital are also being affected in ways that we can’t understand. By raising money for them, we can help them and maybe we can help them. may be able to dance in the same way in the future,” Malak Mubark said. says a student participating in Dance Little Red.
This not only impacts Norton’s patients, but also the up-and-coming doctors who are inspired by this fundraiser.
“Honestly, I want to work in the medical field in the future, so this is basically an idea for future patients,” Murbak says.
Many students have a desire to help, but before starting Dance Little Red, they didn’t know how. Now they know that their love for service is growing.
“Any way I can help someone, I do it and it’s such an easy way to do it, so there’s no reason not to like it,” says Mae Hutchins, an ambassador for Dance Little Red.
