Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz is remaining supportive of Israel despite nearly 20 anti-Israel protests taking place outside the Houston-area home where he lives with his wife and two children, Fox News Digital has learned.

Protesters have been gathering outside Cruz’s home and shouting slogans since February amid growing protests over the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel. The demonstrations came in response to Cruz’s staunch support for Israel during the war and the Texas senator’s denunciation of the “cultural Marxism” promoted in classes at the nation’s top universities.

“No matter how long this anti-Israel, pro-terror harassment continues, Senator Ted Cruz will continue to fight anti-Semitism and defend Texas values. No matter how long Israel fights to eradicate Hamas, Senator Cruz is proud to stand with Israel,” a spokesperson for Cruz told Fox News Digital.

The latest incident occurred on Friday evening, when anti-Israel protesters gathered outside Cruz’s Texas home for the 23rd time since February 10th.

Cruz wrote to X on Friday night about the agitators, saying they’ve been showing up to his house almost every weekend this year “yelling, disturbing the peace and waking up the neighbors.”

As protests continued at his home and on college campuses, Cruz reiterated his support for Israel and denounced the protesters, saying they were people whose “minds have been poisoned to hate America.”

Protests“The anti-Semitic protests that we’re seeing, the anti-Israel protests, are sickening,” Cruz told Fox News host Brian Kilmeade last month on “The Brian Kilmeade Show.” “They’re disgusting. These are extremists whose minds are poisoned. They’ve been taught to hate Israel, they’ve been taught to hate America.”

“And they are shouting slogans in support of Hamas and violent terrorists. An Orthodox rabbi at Columbia University is advising them to stay home because Columbia cannot and will not keep you safe. This is completely unacceptable, and the university administration is siding with the extremists.”
