Chris Evans and Alba Baptiste are planning their second wedding this week.
The “Captain America” actor and his 26-year-old partner had an intimate ceremony at their Boston-area home on Saturday (September 23), and are currently preparing for another celebration for family and friends in Portugal. He plans to host the event. They leave on a plane for their honeymoon.
A source told the New York Post’s Page Six column: “A second vigil will be held in Portugal for Alba’s family who were unable to come to Massachusetts.
“Sometime this week, I think. Then they’ll leave Portugal for their honeymoon.”
The loved-up duo invited close family and friends to their first ceremony, including Chris’ “Avengers” co-stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner.
The New York Post reported that the event was placed on “strict lockdown” and all attendees were asked to sign non-disclosure agreements before the ceremony and their cell phones were confiscated.
Chris and Alba, who was named PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2022, have remained quiet about their wedding.
The newlyweds were first discovered to be dating in November 2022, and a source said, “They have been dating for over a year and are seriously dating.”
A source said at the time: “They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all look up to her.”
The 42-year-old star previously revealed that she would like to start a family someday.
He told People magazine: “A wife, kids, starting a family, that’s what I absolutely want.
“If you read about most of the best artists, whether they’re actors or painters or writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t a piece of work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about relationships. The family they built, the love they found, the love they shared.
“So it’s also something that rings true throughout my long life of 41 years. Those are the most important things. I love the idea of tradition and ritual. I’ve had a lot of that in my life, so The idea of creating is “I can do something better.” Don’t think of something better. ”
