Park has not announced when Fury 325 will reopen.
Carowinds closed its Copperhead Strike roller coaster in 2019 after a passenger injured his thumb on board. The Fury 325 also came under further scrutiny in 2015 after it unexpectedly stopped near the top of the steepest descent.
Ricochet, which I boarded in 2017, was also stuck for about an hour.
