Kimberly Cheatle resigned after a disastrous hearing in which she dodged questions as if she were a lonely 20-year-old on a slightly tilted roof. It also found that Secret Service officials had repeatedly refused Trump’s requests for additional security in the two years before the assassination attempt, including more agents and magnetic detectors at large public events and adding snipers to outdoor venues. Officials argued that the Secret Service was under-resourced, which is more of a stretch than a 5-foot-tall agent trying to protect the 6-foot-3-inch-tall Trump.
I’m no security expert, but I’ve seen the movie “The Bodyguard” 14 times. I don’t think it’s easy to kill a president. It shouldn’t be an easy walk-in. There should be at least a hand stamp or a beer cup. All the notorious assassins have done it. John Wilkes Booth sat through a mediocre play, Lee Harvey Oswald had to climb all the stairs. They don’t walk around in public with a rifle in one hand and a corndog in the other.
So how did this happen? First, a suicidal shooter was empowered by antidepressants, turning a desire into a decision. Then there is the media, who picked the target for you, like a bartender telling you where the dartboard is. Then, after me and Wayne Newton, Trump is the most famous person on the planet. And if he is removed, a brainwashed part of society will cheer him on. So, unlike mass shooters, the shooter gets notoriety and acclaim. When will we see his face printed on T-shirts at peace rallies? So, this shooter was brought to us by Google, Big Pharma, the media, and a kid who is bad at dodgeball. But there is bureaucratic incompetence fueled by both TDS and DEI.
Sniper kills Trump assassin with ‘one in a million chance’: Sources
This is not the agent’s fault, this is the fault of a bureaucracy that prioritizes politics and publicity over people. An inexperienced agent was put in a situation the coach saw fit to do. So who are we playing today? Alabama? Let’s play their 3rd line defense. And the worst part? So this is not the player’s fault, this is the coach’s fault. TDS informed the decision not to take threats seriously, and DEI strained the system to address potential threats. This was the perfect storm of liberal PC ****ing.
Cheatle, while boasting about the quotas, refused to add extra security because he thought they were understaffed or unnecessary. The understaffing was a result of casting diversity hiring in a broad net that included all types of applicants. When you bring up DEI, you get called racist, which is weird because it’s those same critics who equate incompetence with minorities. But we’re talking about systems based on math, not individuals. If you’re looking for new talent from a smaller pool, obviously they’re not as experienced as the long-timers from the larger pool. Demand can’t be met by supply.
I mean, imagine if I was hiring based on redheads. It’s a small pool. It’s OK in the movies, but still, there’s only one person like Molly Ringwald. But when you hear about hospitals and airlines, would you want a pilot who was selected solely because he’s redheaded? By its very nature, DEI diverts resources from one goal (security) to another (diversity). The prioritization itself is problematic. And it’s not racism to say that, it’s common sense. Even if a few people with no merit will necessarily sneak through. So if it’s a conspiracy, it’s a conspiracy of fools.
Allies urge President Trump to minimize DEI attacks, focus on Harris’ ‘terrible’ record: ‘The gotchas were wrong’
DEI offers plausible explanations for apparent incompetence. Think about it. How did a 20-year-old outwit the entire Secret Service? Why do jet doors fall off? Why are all movies so bad? Even movies without Nicolas Cage in them are bad? If you hire someone who is incompetent in any way, it will hurt your product. You can’t stop the crazy person out of 340 million people, but you can reduce the chances that he or she will get away with it. If you can’t stop the grass from growing, get a good lawnmower. And make sure the person is here legally.

It’s easier to keep the Secret Service than it is to solve the problems of an unstable teenager. That’s a needle in a haystack. A needle that outwitted Cheetle.
