The Bucs have another cornerback coming to Tampa Bay for a top 30 pre-draft visit. Kansas cornerback Jacob Parrish is on the team’s radar and will be the second cornerback to visit the Bucks this offseason with head coach Todd Bowles. Oregon’s Nicco Reid is considered a third-day prospect, but is another cornerback visiting Tampa Bay before the 2025 NFL Draft.

A three-year starter for the Wildcats since their freshman season, Parrish is known for his toughness in the press and tackling ability. He played with Tampa Bay cornerback Josh Hayes in K-state during the 2022 season.
Parrish, Reid and South Carolina Demetrius Knight Jr. are three known draft prospects who have been invited to Tampa Bay for their top 30 visits to date.

At 191 pounds, 5ft-10, Jacob Parish isn’t the perfect outside for Tampa Bay. However, Parish, who was a senior bowl participant, has the ideal toughness and quickness to move inside to play nickel cornerbacks in the slot.
According to the Pro Football Focus, the Kansas native played 470 snaps at the Wildcats’ external cornerback last year, but was seen 91 snaps in the slot and 44 more in the box. Parrish had 202 career snaps with Nickel Cornerback in his three years at K-State.
Parrish burned an eye-opening 4.35 with a 40-yard dash in the NFL Scouting Combine, and also featured a 37.5-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot, 9-inch broad jump. With knowledge of Pewter Report, Parrish had no interviews with Bucs at Combine. He is considered a third or fourth draft pick.
Parrish totaled 94 tackles, 16 pass breakups and five interceptions over his final two seasons with the Wildcats, including four of his sophomore seasons in 2023. He made one intercept last season along with seven passes splits. According to the focus of pro football, Parrish has only surrendered four touchdowns in college, but has had two touchdowns each of the past two seasons.
The team could potentially be a slot defender in 2025 as Tykee Smith could move strong and securely from Nickel Cornerback this season to replace Jordan Whitehead. Christian Ijien started all the games in the slots during his 2023 rookie season and has now been penciling up as a starter.
