The power and potential of artificial intelligence is a combination of limitless, frightening, and amazing. ChatGPT and DALL·E come to mind as two popular programs that can answer any question you have and turn anything you can think of into an incredible image. Sure, there are concerns that AI can and will eventually be misused, but right now there are no Terminator robots parading the streets.

On the positive side, there are already examples of this being useful and producing things that even the most creative minds couldn’t imagine. Here we go to Raymond James Stadium, home of the Bucks, in Tampa, Florida.

Ray J is a relatively new venue, built in 1998. Just like last season, there’s plenty of seating and the ability to expand, so you won’t have any problems. Apparently there is also a pirate ship. But what if the stadium itself was a pirate ship?

It’s going to be quite the Bucs boat parade.

Let’s take a look at some of the best stadiums and some of the most questionable, as well as some of the stadiums across the league that have been reimagined by considering the use of artificial intelligence.

Thoughts on the Bucks’ Raymond James Stadium AI Concept

AI-generated image of Raymond James Stadium – Photo from NFL Memes

This all comes from a recent post about X by NFL Memes that got quite a bit of attention (see below). Let’s start with the Bucks, they’re amazing. It will definitely blow away any blueprint you can make out of water. Parking is a nightmare, but this stadium concept has a lot to unpack.

The architecture is amazing. From the foundation of the stadium to the corner sails and crow’s nest. Walk along the deck to the upper level of the ship. Imagine when Tampa Bay scores a touchdown. You could really feel the cannons firing from below. Or, if someone gets too rowdy on board, you can actually make them walk the plank.

Gaki, gaki…

From a neutral standpoint, this is one of my favorite stadium designs. Unfortunately, that’s not the stadium the Bucks will build next, but it’s fun to think about the possibilities. That extends to other teams in the league as well.

What would other AI-designed NFL stadiums look like?

Looking at the 31 NFL stadiums, it’s definitely eye-catching how the AI was able to capture each stadium in a way that pays homage to its city, name, and geographic location.

Other stadiums, including the NFC South, are actually a bit disappointing. Saints Cathedral is a close second behind the Bucks, but it would cost a lot of money to buy all that money. The Falcons’ stadium has a lot to think about and looks a little futuristic with its metallic aesthetic, but more could be done to give it a Falcons feel. If you look at the Panthers, well. There are a lot of trees and the surrounding area looks like a swamp, but its woodland feel is perfect for trick-or-treating rather than driving to an NFL game.

My favorite NFL concept division is by far the AFC East. When you look at the building, which has a waterfall and moat that protrudes from the outside in the image of Niagara Falls, you can feel the atmosphere of a majestic island.Bucks fans might not want to hear that after the team. I just got lost therebut it would have been a little better to watch the game there instead of at Highmark Stadium.

The Patriots appear to be traveling back in time to the Revolutionary War era, while the Jets appear to be aboard a U.S. Navy warship. USS Aaron Rodgers, anyone? Dolphins are on a small island, as you would expect, but it also has a cool beach vibe.

If I had to name my other five favorite teams, I would say the Steelers, Titans, Packers, Cowboys, and 49ers. They all do a great job of creating otherworldly scenery and stadium designs, but I would say the Packers’ one is a bit similar. too much Realistic.

In terms of my least favorite teams outside of the Panthers and Falcons, the Browns are near the top in their general design, but the Jaguars also look awfully similar to the Panthers. It’s hard to do much about some team names, but in most cases the AI nailed it.

Enough about my opinion. Do you agree with my opinion about Raymond James Stadium? What are your favorite and least favorite designs? I would love to read your comments below.
