Another of Carter’s brothers passed away too soon.
TMZ Bobby Gene Carter, 41, has died just over a year after his older brother, pop star Aaron Carter, overdosed and drowned in a bathtub at the age of 34.
Carter family matriarch Jane told the magazine: “I am shocked to learn of the sudden death of my daughter Bobbi Jean, and I need time to come to terms with the terrible reality that this is the third time this has happened. She went on to say: ”[H]No matter how deeply a parent feels the loss of a child, the suffering of a young orphaned child must be even greater. Bobby Jean’s cause of death is unknown. She battled substance abuse; He was arrested just this year. Charged with theft and possession of a controlled substance.
Bobbi Jean and Aaron were preceded in death by the singer’s sister Leslie, who died in 2012 at the age of 25, and the brothers’ father, Robert, who died in 2017 at the age of 65.
