After Devon Archer’s in-depth testimony before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee last week, it’s clear that President Joe Biden’s original story just doesn’t hold up as fact.
In fact, Archer’s testimony and the failure of Hunter Biden’s plea bargain in federal court virtually ensured an expanded impeachment inquiry.
It is important to distinguish between an impeachment inquiry and an actual impeachment motion. The inquiry will allow the House to ask a wider range of questions and broaden the scope of investigative powers available to House Republicans. It may or may not lead to impeachment.

Think how much Archer’s testimony pierced President Biden’s defense that he had nothing to do with, and knew nothing about, Hunter Biden’s business deal.
Archer was a close business partner of Hunter Biden and is pictured with then-Vice President Biden. There’s also a generous letter from the then-Vice President outlining how pleased he was that Archer and Hunter Biden were working together.
Archer testified about the details of their partnership, conclusively proving that candidate Biden, and later president, consistently lied to the American public.
Biden’s rhetoric of never discussing business deals with Hunter continues to crumble
As Miranda Devine of the New York Post reported, “No matter how desperately Democrats and their media maids tried to fabricate Archer’s testimony, he turned things around.”
Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma apparently paid Archer Biden and Hunter Biden $83,000 a month each for access to Joe Biden.
Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin was investigating corruption related to Burisma. In his testimony, Archer said, “At the end of the day, I am convinced that Burisma would not have been in business for as long without Mr. Hunter on the board.”
Joe Biden’s own bragging in a speech at the Council on Foreign Relations led him to fly to Ukraine and threaten the Ukrainian government to withhold $1 billion in aid from the United States unless Shokin was fired. As Biden said, he warned that funding would be cut off if Shokin wasn’t fired. Three months later, Shokin is gone and Burisma is saved, as Archer says.

Archer testified that Vice President Biden’s activities and influence extend far beyond Ukraine. He claimed Hunter called his father at least 20 times to impress foreign businessmen. On several occasions Hunter had his fathers on speakerphone so that everyone could see that he was providing real access to the second most powerful person in the U.S. government.
As former Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer said on Hannity, “If I’m pitching a client right now and I’m like, ‘I’m in touch with George Bush before I go to this meeting. He just wants it.’ And I said, ‘Tell me about the weather. Hey Mr. President, I’m glad you’re here.’ I can catch it. We all know what it’s going to look like. It would have been unethical. It was corruption. Joe Biden has joined that policy more than 20 times. it is corruption. ”
It was more than a phone call. Vice President Biden has had dinner with Hunter’s foreign business associates on at least two occasions. He had dinner in Paris with a French energy company, in China with a Chinese investment firm, and, of course, took Hunter on Air Force Two.

As the Biden family’s corruption becomes more apparent and the defense more irrational, the Archer testimony will be seen as one of the major junctures where reality and fact began to undermine the crumbling defense against fraud and deception. .
