In his remarks celebrating the birthday of Reverend Martin Luther King Jr., President Biden reiterated his dubious allegations that he frequented black churches during the civil rights movement.
Biden delivered a speech Sunday at King’s historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta on the murdered civil rights icon’s 94th birthday. The president began his speech by repeating his claim to tie himself to the civil rights movement, which has been repeatedly disputed in the past.

Biden’s speech at Ebenezer on Sunday comes as he is embroiled in a controversy over alleged mishandling of confidential Obama-era documents.

Attorney General Merrick Garland announced Thursday that he has appointed a special counsel to investigate how the president handled classified documents after he stepped down as vice president in 2017.
Biden was invited to Ebenezer by his senior pastor, Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock.
The White House did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
