Augusta is home to a wealth of creative talent, but only one is featured in this month’s issue of Georgia Entertainment.

The biennial magazine recently released a list of the “200 Most Influential Companies in Georgia’s Creative Industries,” with Jennifer Bowen on the list.

“I’m really happy to have been selected,” she said. “It was a bit of a surprise, but a nice honor.”

The featured names were selected based on recommendations, research by the “Georgia Entertainment” team, as well as interviews and conversations with senior officials.

Bowen is vice president of tourism development and community engagement for Destination Augusta. Augusta the MovieIn this role she earned the Georgia Film Board an Augusta endorsement; Camera Ready CommunityShe also partnered with Augusta Technical University to promote the Georgia Film Academy’s activities in Augusta.

“My passion is Augusta,” Bowen said. “I really want to see Augusta grow and see the crew grow.”
