This feature allows users to remove unwanted objects or subjects from an image after it has been captured. Additionally, Apple has integrated AI features into its photo application for iPhone users.
iOS 18.1 beta introduces notable AI editing features designed to remove unwanted elements from your images. For example, if your photo has a pillar or an unwanted person in it, the Clean Up feature in the Photos app can effectively fix this issue.
To remove unwanted objects, simply select the cleanup icon and circle the items you want AI to remove, ensuring the end result is seamless and free of noticeable edits.
The cleanup feature is currently available in the iOS 18.1 beta 3 version, but is currently limited to users with iPhone 15 Pro and above models in the U.S. Also, users can try out the macOS beta and iPadOS beta versions on their M1 Macs or iPads.
Google first launched the Magic Editor a few years ago alongside the Pixel series, but the latest Pixel 9 series has introduced enhanced Gemini AI-powered features, bringing it even closer to the iPhone 16 lineup which is expected to get AI features in the iOS 18.1 update due for release in October.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 launch event is fast approaching, with the 2024 iPhones expected to be unveiled sometime next week.
A recent report from Bloomberg has revealed the launch and sales dates for Apple’s upcoming event, which could see the iPhone 16 series unveiled within the next two weeks. Additionally, pricing details for the iPhone 16 models have also surfaced online.
