Next year, Hilton will hit the slopes at the opening of the popular new canopy hotel Ski Resort Deer Valley area near Park City, Utah.
The 180-room canopy by Deer Valley Hilton is scheduled to open next summer before ski season. This will be a theme around the transition of the region from the old silver mine area to world-class ski destinations.
During the ski season, the canopy offers “easy ski access.” Statement from Hilton. This includes ski locker rooms and a “vibrant Apresky experience.”
However, you don’t need to love winter sports to enjoy this year-round hotel, offering a pool and hot tub, sauna and steam room, fitness centre and golf simulator.
Details of the hotel’s restaurant and bar offerings are slim for now, but include a signature restaurant, Aplus ski lounge, a coffee shop with grab-and-go offerings, and a rooftop lounge.
The Hilton Canopy in Deer Valley is just one of many new hotels that appear around Deer Valley. Deer Valley East Village in particular is a huge development with shops, restaurants, residential units and year-round recreation.

Deer Valley East Village, 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), is redefineing the winter sports experience in Utah. Developed by Extel Development Dear Valley (the company behind Four Seasons Resort and Residences such as Vail and Park Hyatt New York) is on its mission to become one of North America’s largest ski resorts. During the 2025-26 ski season, the resort’s skiable terrain will double, with 5,726 acres of skiable terrain, 37 chair lifts and a whopping 238 runs.
However, don’t expect to shred it on a snowboard. Since 1981, Deer Valley has remained a ski resort.
