“90 Day Fiancé” star David Murphy has died at the age of 66.

On Wednesday, his family announced his death on Instagram.
They said: “It is with great sadness that we announce that David Murphy of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away at his home on December 11, 2024 after suffering from health issues over the past several years. ” he wrote.
Murphy appeared on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, which focused on his seven-year relationship with his girlfriend Lana, whom he finally met during a trip to Ukraine.
During the season, he proposed to Lana, but they ultimately broke up.
His family said, “Thanks to his appearance on the show, he was able to connect with viewers, see the world, and share his experiences with his thousands of followers on Instagram.”
For those wishing to honor Murphy, his family suggested donations be made to the Las Vegas Animal Foundation, as he “adopted cats and worked hard to give them good, loving homes.”
“He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and fans. David survived with the help of his two sisters and his cat Gamera. The family has asked for privacy at this difficult time.” spoke.
Aside from appearing on the “90 Day Fiancé” series, Murphy was a “veteran, small business owner, and software engineer” and “recently retired from the Clark County, Nevada Treasurer’s Office.”
