Honolulu (corn) — An American Airlines plane makes a hard landing in Hawaii, sending six people to the hospital.
Shortly after 2pm HST on Saturday, Maui Police received a central dispatch call regarding an incident involving an American Airlines aircraft at Kahului Airport.
Officials say American Airlines Flight 271 is listed as an Airbus A321neo on flight tracking websites. flight awareafter arriving by plane from Los Angeles, I encountered a problem upon landing.
“The aircraft taxied to the gate under its own power and the customer disembarked as normal,” American Airlines said in a statement.
Federal Aviation Administration Confirmed The incident will be investigated.
American Airlines said there were 167 passengers and seven crew members on board, but five flight attendants and one passenger were taken to a local hospital and later released.
