A group of nearly 40 House Republicans is calling for a dramatic overhaul of the chamber’s rules following the historic ouster of former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

“We cannot allow the injustices we have all witnessed to stand by, lest we be held responsible for the consequences that follow.
