Is there a better word to pair with in English than “happy hour”? Happy hour is one of the only things that motivates me to get up to go to work. There’s nothing better than relaxing with friends over cheap drinks and food. Luckily, restaurants agree and are giving these diners what they want. Check out some of the great deals you can find at local establishments.
1. Applebee’s
Applebee’s has two different happy hour times to choose from. Weekdays from 3pm to 6pm or from 9pm until closing. Wander around, relax, and enjoy half-price appetizers, discounted draft beers, $4 margaritas, and this month’s wonder drink for just $3. Let’s go now!
2. BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse
What’s it like to have a personal-sized deep-dish pizza for half the price? They sold me on pizza, not even a discounted price. Get $1 off beer, wine and house drinks, plus $2 off shared flatbreads. Be sure to be seated from 3pm to 7pm on weekdays and 10pm Sunday through Thursday nights.
3. Buffalo Wild Wings
Looking for a place to catch some big game and grab a bite? Head to Buffalo Wild Wings from 2pm to 6pm daily for $4 appetizers and $1 off beer. Pro tip: Avoid super spicy buffalo sauce. If you’re crying in the parking lot, you’re going to miss the game…I can tell you from experience here, guys.
4.Chili
Enjoy bar food and drink specials from $4 to $6 from 3pm to 7pm weekdays or 9pm Sunday through Thursday. If you sit at the bar, you get free chips and salsa. Be sure to try one of our signature margaritas. You’ll soon become a regular. Just don’t sing the baby back rib song after you’ve had a few bites. I could tell they didn’t think it was funny.
5. Dairy Queen
You don’t need a bar to have a great happy hour. Children and families can also enjoy a treat after school. Dairy Queen offers premium fruit smoothies for $2 and mist slushies for $1 weekdays from 2pm to 5pm. This seems like a cool way to relax after a stressful day of history and algebra.
6. Dave and Busters
Charge up your Power Card, get ready to play Skee Ball, and hit the shots at your next fun time with your co-workers. Weekdays from 4:30pm to 7pm, enjoy half off house drinks, $2.50 off domestic pints, $1 off house wine, and half off appetizers. Show off your arcade skills and win the new girl in accounting a cute stuffed animal and you’ll become an office legend.
7. Flemings
Next time you’re in the mood for a top-notch steak dinner, stop by Fleming’s a little early and enjoy the happy hour menu. Enjoy a $6 appetizer, mixed drink or wine from 5pm to 7pm on any day of the week, including Saturdays. Talk about a good start to a great dinner.
8. Joe’s Crab Shack
Indulge in seafood while enjoying discounted happy hour drinks weekdays from 4pm to 7pm. Choose from $3 Drafts, Margaritas, or the Very Dangerous Hurricane. Pair it with a $5 appetizer and you’ll feel like you’re somewhere on a tropical beach, away from all responsibilities.
9. Olive Garden
Whether you’re going with your family or trying to get away from them, you’re always family at Olive Garden. Enjoy $4 beers, $5 wine and house drinks during happy hour from 3pm to 5pm. You’ll want to take advantage of the all-you-can-eat promotion for pasta, salad, and breadsticks, so remember to pace yourself.
10. Outback Steakhouse
Welcome to the land below, friends. Visit between 3:00pm and 7:00pm on weekdays and for just $5, you can enjoy a signature Outback House drink, Bloomin’ He Onion, and a delicious ribeye.
11. Texas Roadhouse
Texas Roadhouse offers delicious discounts to happy hour patrons. Weekdays from 4pm to 6pm, enjoy meals like Sirloin Steak and Country Fried Chicken Dinner for a discounted price of $8.99. We always have fresh peanuts ready for you.
12. Red Robin
Red Robin offers some of the most delicious burgers, but the best part is that they offer an endless supply of fries. This may be the best three words ever put together. Come for the burgers during happy hour from 3pm to 6pm and indulge in $3 beers and $5 margaritas with unlimited fries. Also, during happy hour, hand-spun milkshakes for minors are offered at half price. It feels like a win-win for the whole family.
13. Yard House
Going to Yard House for happy hour is not a difficult decision. Most stores have over 100 options, so it can be hard to choose which beer to enjoy. The restaurant offers traditional happy hour and late night happy hour. We offer deals like discounted drinks and half-price appetizers Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm and Sunday through Thursday from 10pm until close. 14. Cheesecake Factory
The Cheesecake Factory offers a traditional happy hour menu weekdays from 4pm to 6pm, but the offerings are very different from most happy hour menus. Their menu claims to be a little more upscale, so you won’t find nachos, quesadillas, or wings. If you want something more upscale, check out the offers at your local Cheesecake Factory.
15. PF Chance
There aren’t many sit-down chain restaurants that serve Asian cuisine, so if you’re in the mood, come to PF Changs. Enjoy signature appetizers like sushi plates, gyoza, and lettuce wraps for less than $8. Additionally, you can purchase drinks for adults at a discount.
16. TGI Fridays
This restaurant, which boasts the phrase “It’s always Friday here,” is sure to have a blast with its happy hour deals. Of course they did. We offer two different happy hours: 5pm to 7pm and 9pm to 11pm. Get half-price appetizers and beer for just $2.
17. Del Taco
Want tacos on a budget? Del Taco isn’t just for Taco Tuesday. We also do Taco Thursday. Every Tuesday, you can get 3 classic tacos for just $1.99. Want more? Come back on Thursday and get 3 grilled chicken tacos for him $3.19. Don’t forget the hot sauce, amigo!
18. Mad Mex
Unfortunately, this is a chain based in Pennsylvania, so I wasn’t able to experience it. But the menu looks delicious, with signature margaritas for $7 during happy hour from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. This looks delicious and strong. You might have to travel to Philadelphia to try it out.
19. Marie Callenders
Monday through Thursday from 3pm to 10pm, get $2 off wine and beer when you order half-price appetizers. We hope you can use the savings to buy some of our world-famous pies to take home. Are you considering key lime or banana cream? How about both?
20. Red Lobster
Red Lobster is one of the more expensive chain restaurants, so happy hour might be a good option to stay on a budget. Enjoy $5 appetizers weekdays from 3pm to 6pm. This includes things like shrimp tacos and sweet chili shrimp. But what about cheddar biscuits? That’s really why I’m here.
21. Sonic
Another fast food chain capitalizing on people’s desire for a mid-afternoon snack is Sonic. At this drive-thru, he sells classic corn dogs for $0.99 and pairs them with refreshing slushies for half price. Additionally, no specified driver is required. However, it’s different if your brain freezes permanently.
22. Starbucks
Want a quick caffeine fix during a midday lull? Find your nearest Starbucks and bring some friends, as they’re open from 2pm to 7pm. On Thursdays only, when you buy one drink, the second drink is half off.
23. Steak & Shake
On weekdays from 2pm to 4pm, you can buy a shake with your burger for half price. Given the size of the burgers and shakes, you won’t be too full for dinner, which saves you a lot of money.
24. Romano’s Macaroni Grill
Choose from Romano’s three-tier happy hour menu. Choose from delicious menu items like whipped feta, bruschetta, spinach and artichoke dip, and more for $4, $6, or $8. Enjoy our three-tier happy hour drink menu. How interesting!
