CHESTER COUNTY, Tenn. — Wrestling fans and competitors filled Chester County High School Friday night.
For the 19th year, Neo Products and Hare Financial presented the Tennessee Championship Wrestling Fundraiser.
Organizers say 100 percent of the money raised will go to the Carl Perkins Child Abuse Prevention Center of Chester County.
Friday night’s event featured the biggest card to date, with about eight big matches and about 40 wrestlers.
“We hope tonight will be the biggest and best show ever in this high school, high school gymnasium. has the potential to come together,” said Terry Hahn, production manager at Neo Products Corporation.
“This is an incredible blessing to us. The money raised tonight will stay here in Chester County. And it allows us to continue to serve the children and families here in Chester County. We can,” explained Kirbi Firth, director of the Carl Perkins Center for Exchange Club of Chester County.
Hahn said the goal was to raise more than $10,000.
