Some viewers criticized Mari’s family for spending $5,000 on the sofa, even though they claimed they didn’t have much money. TikToker @degenupnorth lampooned the situation in a comment. “My family doesn’t have much money. This is my 5K sofa.” Mari answered frankly, “I’m learning financial literacy.”
