A lawyer has spoken out on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” claiming that a woman who allegedly stalked “Baby Reindeer” star Richard Gadd was also terrorizing her.
Piers Morgan spoke with Laura Rae, who hired Fiona Harvey as a trainee at his firm, and claims that Harvey had been stalking and harassing her for nearly five years, despite only being with her for two weeks.
The interview came as Fiona is in the midst of a lawsuit against Netflix seeking $170 million in damages, and just weeks after she appeared on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” to disparage the way she was portrayed on the show. In the suit, she is suing Netflix for defamation, emotional distress, negligence and violation of her right of publicity.
Ray told Morgan he still felt “threatened” by Fiona following reports she was looking to buy a house in the neighbouring town.
“I feel threatened. I’ve always felt threatened by her because I never knew what she was capable of,” Laura explained.
Laura detailed what happened while Fiona was working at the company, saying: “She was rude to staff. She shouted at people. She behaved inappropriately. She threw a book across the office and hit someone with it. She tried to chase a male member of staff home. I was horrified.”
At one point, Laura claimed, “she went completely crazy and started screaming at me, very similar to the first episode of the Richard Gadd show.”
The situation got so bad that when Ray returned from a trip to London, “adults were crying!” Ray said staff were “terrified that she would hurt them. We thought we couldn’t take it anymore.”
When Ray tried to fire Fiona, she said she “won’t quit” and “started yelling” until Laura and another staff member “had to escort her out of the office.”

Fiona then allegedly began leaving messages similar to those she had sent to Richard Gadd.
“Every day I would come into the office and my answering machine would be filled with messages from her. They were threatening and mean. ‘I’m going to get you. I’m never going to let this happen.'”
“She continued this for almost five years,” Ray added.
The harassment didn’t end with the messages, as Harvey also allegedly contacted other lawyers to disparage Leigh and her firm. Leigh claims that Fiona attended Leigh’s university classes even though Harvey was not enrolled.
Ms Rae’s late husband was a Scottish politician and he also accused Mr Harvey of targeting their family.
When Ray reported Fiona to the university, Fiona allegedly accused Ray and her husband of child abuse.
“She complained to social services five times and eventually yelled over the phone that I should put my severely disabled son in a shelter,” Ray said.
At that point, Ray said “enough is enough” and was able to obtain a one-year temporary restraining order, similar to a US interim restraining order.
Laura said she hadn’t heard from Fiona for 22 years, adding: “She just disappeared”, and that it was a “real relief”.
During her appearance on the show, Fiona claimed the Netflix series was falsifying the facts and that she had never been convicted of stalking before.
While Ray’s case certainly garnered attention, her lawyer confirmed that, at least in her case, Harvey did not serve any jail time.
As for whether he was fired by the law firm, Harvey claimed: “I quit. Her staff were really, really rude to me.”
Extra’s Billy Bush spoke to Piers after the interview, and did he believe everything Fiona said?
“I think she had every right to say it,” Morgan said, adding: “Did I believe everything she said? No!”
