Will Smith is back with new music!
The four-time Grammy winner took to the stage at the 2024 BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night to sing his new song, “You Can Make It.”
Smith debuted the song on Friday, before performing it at the awards ceremony with featured artists Friday Lee and the Sunday Service Choir.
The song begins with Will standing amongst large rocks and gravel in a ring of fire.

He told the crowd, “I don’t know who needs to hear this right now, but I’m here to tell you that no matter what’s going on in your life, you can be successful.”
Smith then begins singing lyrics like, “You’re in the smoke and the fire/The ropes taut on the line/I know you’re broken and tired/And all your hope is gone” and “From the fires you walk through/But there’s no one to talk to/Ghosts that haunt you/Thoughts that taunt you.”
The song also offers hope, as Friday and the choir appear behind him singing, “I know you can do it,” to which Will repeats, “I know you can do it,” and cries, “Don’t be afraid!”

A few days ago, Will spoke about the song on Instagram. He said, I have written“Through my darkest moments, music has always encouraged and helped me grow. I truly hope that music can do the same for you and bring you the joy and light you deserve. ‘You Can Make It’ will be released at midnight and I can’t wait to perform it live on Sunday.” #BetaAwards.”
“You Can Make It” follows his collaboration with Sean Paul on the soundtrack to the film Bad Boys 4, “Light Em Up.”
