Anne Hathaway, Marisa Tomei and director Rebecca Hall spoke with Extra’s Mona Kosar Abdi about their new romantic film, She Come to Me.
Anne talked about why she was drawn to the project, playing Peter Dinklage’s wife.
She said: “I’ve just wanted to work with Rebecca since I was literally a teenager, and it was at this time in my life that this story, this script, was filmed in New York and set in the world of opera. Because of the fact that ”, it was very fun and fun and easy, yes. ”
According to Anne, the film asks the question, “What happens when a marriage is too functional and doesn’t work?”
She continued, “I kept running up to Rebecca between takes, and I just wanted to say, ‘Oh my god, Rebecca!'” Love is a strange thing. ”
As for why Anne is the perfect person for the role, Rebecca said: “It’s the combination of her comedic talent and the fact that she has such a big emotional engine.”
In the film, Marisa plays Peter’s one-night stand with the tugboat captain. To prepare for her role, she “read books” and listened to podcasts.
Marisa raved about Peter, saying, “He’s very technical and at the same time very loose.”
Anne further added, “I can’t say enough about him as an actor. I found him to be a wonderful human being to spend time with and act with.”
“She Come to Me” is currently in theaters.
