Currently, one in four Americans belong to “a little bit of relationship.” According to new research.
A survey of 2,000 Americans in serious relationships looked at the highest low love, finding that 26% now believe that partnerships need rejuvenation.
34% admitted they had faced a slight previous relationship, and the survey looked at some of the common signs people need to rekindle their partners and sparks.
Key indicators of rut include romantic gestures and moments (50%), non-passionate, everyday gender (46%), bedroom boredom (32%), and lack of conversation (41%).
Others either find themselves fantasizing about others or their partners (24%) or find that their partners have less comment on their appearance (23%).
This current rut lasts for an average of nearly 10 months, and even 55% admitted that it’s been more than a year, 63% fear that without immediate intervention these cases could foreshadow the end of the relationship.
Talker Research has been running it on behalf of the I’m lovedthere is hope – and the survey looked at how couples keep the spark alive.
Communication and new activities can help you revive love
Another 34% have discovered a relationship in the last few years, and these couples worked on communication (62%) and focused on trying new things together (43%). A little over a third (36%), these methods were effective.
We found that only 30% of couples try new things frequently in their bedrooms, with almost half (48%) admitting that they only have sex one to five times a month on average.
In fact, only about a third (32%) rate the pain of an intimate encounter between “A+” and “A-“. 13% gives you an “F” at all.
Going it a step further, three in five (60%) (60%) say that their current partner has the best they’ve ever had in the bedroom.
The study investigated how long-distance relationships influence intimacy. Results show that 31% are in current or long distance relationships, and 20% consider these relationships to be more “spicy” than normal relationships. Technology for almost all of these respondents (83%) plays an integral role in maintaining connections with their partners.
“Technology isn’t just about long distance relationships. It helps couples to release themselves from everyday things and add excitement to intimacy,” says Lovense CEO Dan Liu. “When relationships fall into predictability, Tech offers a way to reintroduce novelty and creativity, helping partners rediscover connections and joy.
“It’s not about replacing human interaction, it’s about strengthening it and keeping things fresh.
When asked what was the most effective or unique way, they increased the bedroom intimacy with their partner and shared some amazing approaches. One respondent said, “By first relaxing together and letting them leave the world.”
Toys such as blindfolds, candles and music were also popular answers.
Long distance relationships may bring more spice
Couples are introducing technology into their bedrooms using toys (24%), lights (21%) and playlists (13%).
“It’s natural for couples to settle into their daily lives after years of together for decades. Many find that first sparks difficult to rekindle. But stimulating long-term relationships doesn’t have to be complicated.” “Sometimes, small changes, like introducing technology into the bedroom, can create a fresh experience and regain that sense of intimacy and connection.
“We have seen many times how big innovation can make a huge difference in helping couples rediscover intimacy and create new, memorable moments together.”
