On the now viral TikTok, a driver spots a Wendy’s employee pushing a cart back and forth in a drive-thru, leaving viewers to guess what she’s up to.
TikToker Jose Romero (@eaglegraphixslongbeach) posted the video on March 6th. In it, it shows a clip of a Wendy’s employee rolling a dolly around an empty drive-thru.
A text overlay reads, “I know she has to trick the system.”
Many fast food restaurants track drive-thru times with ordering screens and sensors that detect vehicle movement in front of the window. crushed article. This is probably the “system” Romero is referring to.

Viewers jumped into the comments section to speculate that she might be cutting down on restaurant drive-thru times.
“She tricks the drive-thru timer into thinking the car is there and they are servicing it right away, thus reducing the average time,” one user wrote.
“She’s fixing the drive on time…so I don’t know how slow they’re getting the food out,” said another.
Some caution against exposing managers who may be trying to get out of trouble with upper management.
“She’s trying to keep her job and they’re all exposing her,” said one commentator.
“Corporates give them a specific time when they have to meet other sensible fires! It definitely takes away from the shame quality of corporate food,” explained another.
