Wendy Williams’ freedom was questioned Wednesday night after police were called out while she was having dinner!
Williams, 60, was previously diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD), but claims he has no cognitive impairment. The star, who is fighting a court-ordered guardian, has just passed the mental ability test.
TMZ Report Wendy’s nie Alex Finney was with a former talk show host when he returned to Cotery, an aid living facility from Lennox Hill Hospital.
The woman was in Wendy’s room and headed to Max Tucci’s Tucci restaurant. After they left, TMZ reports that Cotery filed a police report, claiming that Alex had taken Wendy from the facility and broke the law.
However, the NYPD says there is no police report on the records. “Extra” also contacted coterie for comment.

When Wendy and Alex returned from dinner, Williams spoke with reporters outside Cotery and called the ordeal “unbelievable.”
Wendy said, “Obviously they’re lying to me. They say I can go out and do what I want to do. This is my nie, Alex. She just flew from Miami, I’m just from the hospital, so we’re going to celebrate.”
Alex added: “At one point, the police were told they were called, because Cotery here reportedly took her aunt out of the facility and drove her away without confirmation or approval.”
TMZ points out that Wendy cannot leave her room on the fifth floor without accessing the elevator. According to the outlet, the attendant walked Wendy and Alex to the lobby and headed out to Uber.
Wendy’s Guardian lawyer also contacted TMZ this week, saying Williams was talking to her family and could meet whenever she wanted, but this time it doesn’t seem to be the case.
TMZ previously reported that NYPD and Adult Protection Services are also considering Wendy’s living situation.
Wendy was scheduled to appear in “View” on Friday, but it is now unknown if that will happen. “Extra” spoke with Whoopi Goldberg at the opening of Planet Hollywood in New York. She told us about Wendy appearing on the show.
Whoopi added that he knows Williams “forever” and said he’s been reading about her on the news, “Because I don’t like to read until I see someone, until I know, so I don’t hear what people think is going on.”
last month, Interview Using TMZ’s Harvey Levin, Williams could be seen through the window on the fifth floor, when he spoke to Harvey on the phone from her room. She called her life “isolation.”
He asked her, “Are you allowed to go out?” Wendy told him, “No, “I can call you, but you can’t call me.” She added that friends were not allowed to visit.
Williams told him, “In the last 30 days, I’ve gone out twice for my teeth.”
Harvey told her, “Even people who are in prison for murder have gone outside an hour a day and you’ve only been outside twice in the last 30 days?”
She said, “Yes, yes, yes, yes.”
Wendy, who has no internet access, later insisted: The system failed. I want to regain my freedom – what do you think? ”
“Extra,” Billy Bush spoke to Harvey about Wendy, who said, “My take is back to who Wendy Williams is.”
Levin said about why she couldn’t control the situation, “She’s not because everything’s piled up against her now. She’s basically dealing with a guardian who is a judge who said, “There are no visitors, no one can call you, and can’t have the internet.” She is isolated and at that point you surrender to it. Although she is not now. She wants this. ”
He also spoke to her finances and said, “Yes, she should deal with her finances with someone and she should agree to it, so no one can take money from her…but that doesn’t mean you’re locking up someone.”
