ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A man was arrested in Waterloo after allegedly using counterfeit bills at a local business.
Police accused 55-year-old Arcangel Soler of using counterfeit $100 bills in exchange for items, receiving U.S. dollars in change, then returning to the store to try to do the same thing.
Police said Sorrell gave a false name and date of birth during a traffic stop in Waterloo on June 25.
Soler was charged with possession of a forged document in the first degree, two counts of petty theft, scheme to defraud and identity theft. He was arraigned in Seneca County CAP Court and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility.
