Lobero Live will perform a Watchhouse special duo set with guest Humbird on Wednesday, November 15th at 7:30pm at the Lobero Theater in Santa Barbara.
Watchhouse (formerly of Mandolin Orange)’s Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz introduced themselves with their 2021 self-titled LP and are now celebrating the release of their 2022 independent recording Watchhouse (Duo). They are doing short-lived shows featuring just the two of them. It reminds me of their early days of performance. Humbird opens the show.
Watchhouse, which began playing coffee shops and local restaurants around North Carolina more than a decade ago, is a grassroots story driven by Marlin’s emotional songwriting.
