The Washington Nationals split the series against the Mets, winning two thrillers and losing with two smells. Now is the time for more divisional play as Natt takes over the Phillies on his first trip to Citizens Bank Park of the season.
It’s the best as Mackenzie Gore faces Zack Wheeler in the opening day duel rematch. The Nationals lineup is very similar to the lineup that was released on the first day. The only change is Jose Tena, who is taking part in the injured Paul DeJohn. Despite his hot bat, Alex Cole came out of the lineup in favor of the All-Glove No Cott Jacob Young.
The three former Nats start things off as Trea Turner, Blythe Harper and Kyle Schwarber form the top of the Phillies lineup. There are many familiar names in this lineup. But the bottom three of Edmund Sosa, Weston Wilson and Johann Rojas are not star-studded.
