Hallelujah! The losing streak is over! After dropping seven times in a row, the Nats returned to their winning column thanks to a late inning rally. The offense seemed to be stagnant again for most of the game, but they came in the second half of the innings.
Team stars CJ Abrams and James Wood led the rally. They each had two hits and Wood drove on a go-ahead run on a double in the corner.
James Wood had three hit balls that were hit harder than 107 mph in this game
This is the second time he has finished it this year.
He joined Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani and Addison Barger as the only players in two different games this season.

The game began in a familiar pattern. The NAT scored in the first innings, but they made stupid mistakes to limit what could become a big rally. Ricky Gutierrez made a malicious transmission that led to CJ Abrams being abandoned at home. An RBI groundout from struggling Nathaniel Lowe made it 1-0, but it could have been a big inning.
Unlike his previous start, Mitchell Parker was extremely sharp and quick, retiring the first six Braves batsmen while attacking four. He burned and looked, throwing a tick or two more than usual. However, he will run into trouble later on his outing.
The Braves began to understand him third. Michael Harris hit what looked like Homer, but the play was overturned by a triple after review. Stuart Fairchild drove him. The Fairchild scored after Riley Adams threw an error on a stolen basic attempt. The fifth Brave Slurry will be in the 4-1 game.
It seemed the Nats were staring at the barrel of eight consecutive defeats. But they showed us little by little a mind we had never seen before. In the seventh, the first two batters arrived, but after Josh Bell’s double play, the innings looked to pop out. However, Dilncrue made Nathaniel Lowe single, and Josthena drove the crew in a double.
It was 4-3 and the boys were in business if the bullpen could hold the Braves. Cole Henry and Jose a Feller did it at the seventh bottom, giving Nat the opportunity to meet.
CJ Abrams pulled out his second walk of the day to lead the innings. After a slow error scored, the hot Amed Rosary drove him to tie the game. James Wood will then make what would be a double-decisive blow to the corner, 5-4.
However, Nats Bullpen still needed two clean innings. Miraculously they did exactly that. Jose a Feller is so sharp tonight, showing why he had so many hype in the season. After winning the final of the seventh day, he pitched a clean eight.
Kyle Finnegan then closed the door and pitched for the first time in over a week. He let out a loud cry after he made the final. Writing about victory is a lot of fun, and Nats did it last night after a while. Now is the time to stack Curly W.
