Vitalpharm has appointed Joe Holland as chief supply chain officer, a newly created role at the company, effective September 1. August 20th Press Release.
Holland leads Vital Farms’ diversified supply chain team, including its egg washing and packing facility (also known as Egg Central Station) in Springfield, Mo. He will also lead the company’s future facility in Seymour, Ind., and its growing dairy butter business.
The supply chain executive will also assume responsibilities formerly held by former chief operating officer Jason Dale, who had served as COO since 2019, but will remain in an advisory role until the end of 2024, according to the announcement.
Prior to joining Vital Farms, Mr. Holland served as EVP of Operations and Supply Chain at Curaleaf Holdings, a provider of consumer cannabis products. He has more than 25 years of operational experience having held various supply chain and distribution roles at Dean Foods, Cadbury Schweppes and Ventura Foods.
