Victorville, California (VVNG.com) – The Victorville Planning Commission recently approved a new five-story, 152-room hotel under the Residence Inn by Marriott brand.
This proposal, presented by Robert F. Tuttle Architects, was approved on March 13, 2024.
The approved Marriott hotel will occupy two acres at the northeast corner of Bear Valley Road and Mariposa Road, behind the Warehouse Shoe Store (WSS) and set back from Dutch Bros. Adjacent to the Avid Hotel inside. . Coffee multi-tenant building and Super Star Car Wash.
The hotel is designed as a suite hotel, with each room equipped with a kitchenette and dedicated workspace. A variety of amenities include a meeting room, fitness center, swimming pool, and outdoor patio with cooking facilities and fireplace.
In addition, the hotel also offers a dining hall, laundry service and a small market for its guests.
The Victorville Planning Commission also recently approved a new Wyndham Garden Hotel, spurring the expansion of the local hospitality market. These efforts follow in the footsteps of Avid Hotels and other hotels that have opened previously, including Hampton Inn and Fairfield by Marriott.
The date for the groundbreaking ceremony has not yet been announced.
