Amanda Remos won a unanimous decision victory over Aismin Lucind at UFC 313, with all three judges winning a 29-28 fight. Lemos used her experience and grappling to neutralize the 23-year-old rising candidate to control most of the contest.
The fight began with both fighters stepping in, but it was Lucind who began the grappling exchange. This ultimately hit Lemos’s hands. Because she was able to reverse position in the first two rounds and maintain long-term ground control. Lemos consistently placed himself in a dominant position, limiting Lucind’s offensive power and determining the pace of the fight.

In the third round, Lucind secured a takedown and was able to turn the tide by working from top control. However, Lemos remained composed, turning positions before the final horn, closing the fight in a dominant way.
This victory will improve Lemos to 15-4 as an expert and maintain her spot among the elite in the straw weight division. The 37-year-old Brazilian has been the top candidate since his title challenge with Zhang Weili. Since that loss, she has given Mackenzie Dern a dominant victory before suffering from a set-off over Verna Gandillova. This victory keeps her conversation going for another big opportunity of 115 pounds.
Lucind, who had been on a four-game winning streak before this match, fell to 17-6. Ranked seventh before UFC 313, she remains the youngest woman on the UFC roster at just 23 years old. Despite the losses, she has already proven herself as one of the brightest prospects in the department, and this experience for an experienced candidate like Lemos will serve as a learning moment of her development.
UFC 313 took place on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The pay-per-view main card was broadcast live on ESPN+ at 10pm ET.
