After his divorce, Tyrese Gibson has found love with beauty entrepreneur Jerry Timothy!
“Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi spoke with Tyrese, who has been dating Zélie since 2021.
He said: “I was too old to go to clubs, too old to be direct messaging a new girl every week and getting caught up in all that rat-fighting, but God sent me someone really special.”
Another special person in Tyrese’s life is fellow Fast and Furious star Scott Eastwood!
The two co-starred in “1992,” a heist movie set against the backdrop of the Rodney King verdict and the Los Angeles riots.
Tyrese said, “I was on the phone with Ariel Vromen, and he said, ‘Hey, we’re looking for someone to play Ray Liotta’s son,’ and I said, ‘I’m with Scott Eastwood right now.’ He was like, ‘Really? Get me on the phone.’ And so he was cast.”
The film is being released on the same day as his new album, “Beautiful Pain,” which was inspired by the heartbreaking deaths of his mother and two sisters, as well as his ongoing grief over his “1992” co-stars Ray Liotta, Paul Walker and John Singleton.
He commented: “I was able to find beauty in my pain. It was the most vulnerable thing I’ve ever done in my life.”
“1992” and “Beautiful Pain” both open on Friday.
