The campaign announced Friday morning that it had raised $34.8 million following the verdict. Notably, the verdict makes Trump the first former president to be convicted of a felony. Jason Thielman, the official campaign manager for the Republican Senate, also noted the surge in campaign funds. “Outrage over the false verdict against Trump galvanized ordinary Americans into action!” Thielman wrote on TwitterX (formerly Twitter).
