Former President Trump on Friday denounced President Biden’s failed student-loan forgiveness plan and called the president “perverse.” Favorable judgment of the Supreme Court Biden vs. Arkansas.
President Trump addressed an enthusiastic crowd at the Moms for Liberty Joyful Warriors National Summit in Philadelphia. During his speech, he criticized Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan, which would forgive up to $10,000 per federal borrower.
Earlier Friday, the Supreme Court ruled Biden’s Student Loan Forgiveness Plan was unconstitutional.
The plan would eliminate debt for borrowers with annual incomes below $125,000. Recipients of the Pell Grant would have been granted a pardon of up to $20,000.

”[It] “It would have been very unfair to millions of people who worked hard and paid their debts. Very unfair,” Trump said in his speech.
“We have a corrupt president. Very corrupt,” added the former president. “But this was a way of trying to buy votes.”
A Supreme Court majority rejected the idea that the HEROES Act would allow loan forgiveness, a major blow to the Biden administration.
“The secretary’s plan cancels approximately $430 billion of outstanding federal student loans, completely wipes out the debt of 20 million borrowers, and reduces the median value of the remaining 23 million borrowers to between $29,400 and $13,600. It was meant to be lowered to Chief Justice John Roberts wrote: with a 6 to 3 majority.

“Six states have filed lawsuits alleging that the HEROES Act does not authorize loan reversal plans, and we agree,” the judge added.

“As you know, they also gave religious freedom … a great victory. Today, religious freedom won a tremendous victory,” the former president said.
